Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bayonne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The purpose of this request for Bids is to provide contractual painting and plastering services in hallways, basements and apartments upon the move-out of tenants. The monthly painting and plastering will vary at the Authority's discretion. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company which is listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, or by certified check in the amount called for in the Specifications, made out to the Housing Authority of the City of Bayonne. Amount of Bid Bid Guarantee Up to $200,000 10% of Bid $200,000 to $400,000 $20,000 Over $400,000 5% of Bid All Bidders are hereby notified that compliance with the most recently published and applicable DavisBacon Wage Requirements will be required in the performance of any contract awarded. The successful Bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract and a Maintenance Bond for a percentage of the construction cost as defined in the specifications, both from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company which is listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid or bids, to reject any and all bids, and to accept such bid or bids and to make such awards as may be in the best interest of the Authority. Bid date description: Envelopes shall contain, on the exterior, the designation of the contract for which the bid is entered, and the name, address and telephone number of the Bidder. An original and two (2) copies should be submitted.
