Inspect, repair and replace as needed irrigation, electrical and lighting systems Landscape Clean Up and Replacement Removal and replacement of hard surface materials (decomposed granite, mulch, pebbles and rocks) The City of Redlands is accepting bids for the Gateway Refresh Project. The scope of work includes: o Inspection and repair of all irrigation, electrical and lighting systems o Landscape clean-up and replacement o Removal and replacement of hard surface materials (decomposed granite, mulch, pebbles, and rocks) Bidders are advised to review the architectural plans for detailed specifications and requirements The project is to address the following locations: PEARL AVENUE FROM 6 TH STREET TO ORANGE STREET PEARL AVENUE AND 6 TH STREET PEARL AVENUE AND ORANGE STREET This work will be performed in Caltrans Right of Way, and the contractor is responsible for obtaining all Caltrans Encroachment Permits, which will include a Traffic Control Plan and SWPPPS approval. A mobilization site is available nearby The original "GATEWAY" project was completed in 2016, and this project's efforts are to refresh the upgraded locations to address irrigation issues, landscape renewal and lighting upgrades. The original GATEWAY AS BULT plans are available (see Attachment B) as are a new set of plans (See Exhibit C) with new landscape materials. Pursuant to and in compliance with your Notice Inviting Bids, and the other documents relating thereto, the undersigned Bidder, having familiarized themselves with the terms of the Contract, the local conditions affecting the performance of the Contract and the cost of the work at the place where the work is to be done, and with the plans thereto, hereby proposes and agrees to perform within the time stipulated, the Contract, including all of its component parts and everything required to be performed, and to provide and furnish any and all of the labor, materials, tools, equipment and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the contract, and complete in a workmanlike manner, all of the work covered by the contract in connection with the City's Prevailing Wage Project identified as: GATEWAY REFRESH PROJECT FCS01132026KG. Estimated Quantities The quantities furnished under this Bid are to be considered as approximate only and are to be used solely for the comparison of Bids received. The City does not expressly or by implication represent that the actual quantities involved will correspond exactly therewith; nor shall the Bidder plead misunderstanding or deception because of such estimate in accordance with the Specifications. Quantities may be increased or diminished.
