Description :- Pickens County Schools has issued this Request for Proposal; hereafter referred to as "RFP", except where noted for clarity, for the purpose and intent of obtaining bid responses from licensed, qualified firms to complete playground renovations a Hill City Elementary School located at 600 Hill Circle, Jasper, GA 30143. ( Vendor to verify) Remove excess dirt, mulch, and etc. to establish a proper base and depth for PIP EPDM surfacing. Onsite disposal of dirt and mulch, rock only will be permitted. Base aggregate should meet compaction needs. Drainage should be considered and a plan provided to help insure the PIP meets life expectancy. PIP surface should meet standards for running slope, cross slope, etc. PIP color desired is a mixture of gray/green/blue combination Meet ASTM F1951 and ASTM F1292 CFH requirements, Add 2 play structures to left side that serve an age range of 5-12-year-old children Have a combined min- max play capacity of 75-100 Min Elevated activities 30-35 Ground Level accessible types 5-10 range Ground Level activities 7-10 range Add new 4 Bay Swing set to right side, for age group 5-12, min 8 swings New structures color schemes should stay with the gray/blue/green theme.
