The City of Bristol, Virginia, is seeking bids from qualified bidders for the construction of the Equalization Tank System at the Bristol Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility (ISWMF). Bids must be submitted to the City of Bristol. Five complete sealed copies of bidding documents must be received at the City of Bristol, Virginia Procurement Department. If proprietary information is included, an additional redacted copy suitable for public inspection must be provided. Each copy must be complete, separately bound, and clearly identified by section. Those wishing to submit electronically may do so via the eVA procurement platform while also submitting required paper copies by the due date. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. The bid package must include one separate unbound copy of the Bid Form. The bid must be enclosed in a plainly marked package with the project title, the name and address of the bidder, and accompanied by the bid security and other required documents. The sealed envelope must be plainly marked with the notation "BID ENCLOSED - Invitation to Bid # SW-26-002 for the Equalization Tank System." Mailed bids must be addressed to the designated location. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
