The project seeks qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for the City of Bristol’s Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility, which includes three municipal solid waste landfills (SWP 221, SWP 498, SWP 588) and associated systems. Services relate to evaluating and possibly enhancing the landfill gas collection system, which includes fifty-nine wells and dedicated pumps, along with support systems such as equalization tanks for leachate treatment, a benzene treatment system, a sidewall odor mitigation system, and an emergency generator. Proposals are for services limited to the Solid Waste Department, and selection will be through competitive negotiation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
