Lump sum bids are requested for the Twin Lakes School Corporation - Natatorium Renovations, as indicated in the contract documents. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the proper and complete construction of the project. Prime bid packages include: General Trades, Door Frames and Hardware, Floor and Wall Tiling, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Pool Equipment. All work must be constructed following the Notice to Bidders, Project Manual, Drawings, and Addenda. Required bid documents are the Tecton Construction, Inc. Bid Proposal Form, Bid Guarantee Contractor's Bid Security, Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96 (with financial statement), and Affidavit regarding Employment of Unauthorized Aliens. Instructions to bidders include: - Submit bids in sealed envelopes specifying the Project Name, bidder's name and address, and Bid Package, with separate envelopes for each Bid Package. - Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or satisfactory bid bond for 5% of the maximum bid payable to Twin Lakes School Corporation, with a certified and current Power-of-Attorney attached if executed by an attorney-in-fact. - Bids must be executed on the specified forms, including the Tecton Proposal Form and Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 with Non-Collusion Affidavit, fully completed and sworn to as required. - Prime contractors awarded contracts must provide approved Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount, in effect for 12 months from acceptance of the work, at the time of written notice to proceed. - The Owner reserves the right to accept bids within 60 days by Letter of Intent, present agreements within 30 days of such Letter, reject any or all bids, and waive informalities, irregularities, or errors as permitted by law.
