Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project generally consists of the reconfiguration and resurfacing of three existing tennis courts to create eight pickleball courts, including the installation of posts and nets at Wall Park. Bidders are responsible for all costs related to the preparation of the bid. All bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid, payable to Cheltenham Township. The successful bidder must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities, or defects in the bid; to reject any or all bids, or part thereof; and to make an award on the basis of quotations received for any individual bid item, or on the basis of the aggregate total for all bid items as deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Bids may be held by the Township for a period of 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating qualifications of bidders prior to awarding contract. Questions must be submitted via OpenGov Procurement Portal no later than 4:30 pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Submission of a question does not guarantee that such question will be answered. Any responses will be posted via the OpenGov Procurement Portal.
