The Gratiot County Land Bank Authority (hereafter "the GCLBA" or "the LBA") is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for asbestos abatement and demolition at 200 Prospect Street, Alma, located in Gratiot County, Michigan. Demolition is funded through a grant from the state of Michigan using federal dollars. Some additional documentation is required as a result. _ Gas, electric, and water wrecking clearances and open hole photos must be provided to the LBA. _ The contractor must submit NESHAP 10-day notices for both abatement and demolition, separately. This includes residential properties. _ Abatement debris must go to a licensed Type II landfill. Demolition debris must go to a licensed Type I or Type II landfill or recycling center, as appropriate. Signed copies of landfill receipts/waste manifests for every load removed from the project site must be maintained daily and provided to the LBA. _ The contractor must provide copies of appropriate licenses for the abatement crew.
