The scope of work for the project located at Galena High School, 1206 Franklin Street, Galena, IL 61036, includes, but is not limited to the following: Work for the project includes but is not limited to: Demolition of existing structures, site utilities, earthwork, retaining walls, paving, building concrete, site concrete, athletic equipment, artificial turf, athletic track surfacing, fencing, storm drainage, field lighting, and restoration. As part of the Bid Package 3, the district will be seeking bids for the asphalt paving, general trades, electrical, fencing, site utilities, concrete, and retaining wall systems. Drawings and specifications are available online, by phone, or in person. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on site at the Galena School District Office. Attendance is not mandatory but prospective bidders are urged to attend to familiarize themselves with the project and site. Separate site tours may be arranged by contacting the provided representatives. Copies of the bidding documents may be obtained from Tri-State Blue Print & Framing Company upon depositing the specified sum per set or receipt of approved association cards. Deposits will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders if documents are returned in good condition within fourteen days after award of the project.
