Site work for a water / sewer project in Monroe, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing approximately 4,576 linear feet of 2-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch water mains, related appurtenances, and water service transfers. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bidders must be licensed to work as a general contractor in the State of North Carolina. Bidders are required to comply with non-collusion requirements and provide bid security in accordance with the instructions. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work, and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder. Outreach to Minority Businesses (HUB Certified) and Small Businesses is encouraged.
