project consists of installing 1,100 linear feet of owner-furnished 48-inch high fencing from Design Master, Florence type. Additionally, the work includes installation of five owner-furnished pre-fabricated single swing 48-inch wide gates, and two pre-fabricated double swing 84-inch wide gates. All new fencing and gates (including foundations) are to be installed per plans in alignment with a new ten-inch wide, four-inch thick mowing strip. The project also requires the relocation of existing irrigation lines and sprinkler heads, and associated grass replacement as needed. The park will remain open and operational during working hours, except for the immediate area surrounding active work zones as necessary. Bidders are required to submit electronic bid proposals, include bid security amounting to ten percent of the Lump Sum Base Bid, and possess a current State of California "Class A" General Engineering License. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations and possess a City business certificate. The contractor must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations for all work done under this contract.
