Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Furnishing all tools, materials, and labor and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of the E. 2nd St. & S. Elgin Ave Intersection Reconstruction, Project No. SW-2020-01-05 TO#6 & TMUA-W 26-14. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory. Bids will not be received from contractors who did not attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Bids will be accepted by the City Clerk from holders of valid pre-qualification certificates from the City of Tulsa in one or more of the following classifications: A or C. The overall aspirational Small Business Enterprise utilization goal for this project is ten (10) percent. Bidders are required to commit to the goal of employing on the project at least fifty percent bona fide residents of the City of Tulsa and/or MSA in each employment classification. Bidders, their subcontractors, and their lower-tier subcontractors must hire only citizens of the United States. A Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidders Surety Bond in the sum of 5% of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder. The successful bidder must furnish public liability and workmen's compensation insurance, as well as Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance bonds each for 100% of the contract price. The bidding for this project is subject to a local preference law as defined in Oklahoma Statutes, Title 61, Section 103. All applicable contract requirements pertaining to non-discrimination in employment shall be followed. The City of Tulsa is exempt from payment of any sales or use taxes, and vendors may exclude these from bids if acting on behalf of the City of Tulsa. Pre-qualification requirements: Holders of valid pre-qualification certificates from the City of Tulsa in classification A or C only. The overall aspirational Small Business Enterprise utilization goal for this project is ten (10) percent. The work under this item shall consist ofrestoring Rights-of-Way. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal and replacement ofmailboxes, drains, traffic signs, and curb street address number, sprinkler system or any other improvement within the right ofway that is not paid for in other items ofwork. If any bidder who contemplates submitting a bid is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the drawing, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, bidder may submit to Contract Administration and the Engineer a written request for interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretation of the proposed contract documents will be made only by addendum.
