Furnishing of all labor and materials and construction, including cold milling, asphalt pavement overlay, traffic striping, and related improvements on public rights of way within the City of Tupelo. Work to be provided as directed by the City of Tupelo Department of Public Works and will consist of milling existing asphalt roadways and overlaying existing local streets as defined by the Owner. All work involves provision of labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as specified in the Proposal document, General Conditions of Work, and Technical Specifications. All improvements are to be located within existing rights-of-way owned and maintained by the City of Tupelo. All work for streets on the Primary Street List must be completed by January 31, 2027. It is mandatory for each bidder to have a minimum of one representative (owner/principal, project manager, or superintendent assigned to the project) attend the pre-bid conference in order to be eligible to submit a bid. Failure to meet these conditions will prohibit bid eligibility. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, with the Mayor and City Council reserving the right to reject any and all bids and waive any and all informalities.
