The City of Lakewood plans to develop a new 4.3-acre public plaza at 4900 Clark Avenue, south of City Hall and the Angelo M. Iacoboni Library. The plaza will include a playground, performance area, landscaping, surface parking, restrooms, a theme marquee sign, digital signage, and public art. Designs are being prepared by Dahlin Architecture and Nuvis Landscape Architecture. Construction is expected to begin toward the end of 2026 and last approximately nine months.
