The work consists of the Jefferson Street Reconstruction, including approximately 3,600 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 2,800 linear feet of water main, 1,900 linear feet of storm sewer, 6,200 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 29,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk and driveway apron, 10,000 tons of base course, 3,000 tons of asphalt pavement, restoration, and related miscellaneous work. Bidders must be Plan Holders of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from those not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as non-responsive. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of 10% of the Bidder’s maximum price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any technicality, and accept any Bid deemed advantageous. Bids remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the set time for receiving Bids. The contract award will be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Prospective Bidders are required to complete and submit a prequalification questionnaire with supporting documents. Prequalification forms are provided with the Bidding Documents and must be submitted by the specified deadline.
