Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Appleton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a 42,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of miscellaneous sidewalk and concrete street excavation repairs, including 2,550 square yards of 7”–8” plain concrete pavement and 42,000 square feet of 4”–8” concrete sidewalk. Only electronic bids through the specified online service will be accepted. To be considered for bidding, contractors must register and purchase digital contract documents. Bids must be submitted by the stated deadline, and must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid. The bid bond guarantees that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days; otherwise, the bid bond will be forfeited as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed in its best interest and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. No bid will be opened unless the required proof of responsibility is filed by the deadline. Instructions for viewing and submitting bids are provided through the specified online platform.
