The scope of work includes the construction of foundations, utilities, mechanical systems, electrical systems, a rooftop solar array, and a prefabricated precast concrete shower house. The shower house will consist of eight stalls and spaces for mechanical and electrical equipment, and it will be heated and cooled using geothermal systems. Instructions to bidders include the following: Bidding documents are available for examination online and at designated locations. Copies may be obtained by bidders and subbidders in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and require a deposit. Each bidder must submit bid security as specified, and the successful bidder must provide acceptable corporate surety bonds for the faithful performance of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled closing. The Owner intends to award the contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder, provided the bid meets all requirements, and reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Offers are to be submitted on the provided Bid Form, which may be supplemented as appropriate. From time to time after execution of the Agreement, upon approval by the Owner, the following types of documents will be incorporated into Contract Documents: a. Drawings and other documents documenting the design. b. Construction drawings and specifications detailing the execution of the design.
