Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Deforest, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Removal of asphalt shingles and installation of standing seam metal roof with ridge venting at Yahara Park Shelter, 443 Trailside Drive, DeForest, WI. Rough roof dimensions are 64 feet by 36 feet. All bids must be sealed and addressed to the Village Clerk, 120 South Stevenson Street, DeForest, WI 53532, and must include the name and address of the bidder and the Village of DeForest Project Name. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of DeForest in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid. All bidders are required to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or accept the bid or bids which best serve the interests of the Village of DeForest. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the owner. The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 66.0901, 779.14, and 779.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
