Project Award is tentatively scheduled for consideration by the Village Board at their March 3rd or 17th, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. meeting. Work includes the replacement of 3 exterior windows with new aluminum framed windows to match windows from the new building. The 3 windows are 48" x 48". Exterior and interior finishes are to match the adjacent Municipal Building. Bathroom renovations in the Fire Department include new plumbing fixtures, new towel and toilet paper holders, new LED lighting, drywall repairs, ceiling grid and ceiling tile removal and replacement, new 4" vinyl base trim, and epoxy floor addition (decorative Quartz). Decontamination shower renovations in the Fire Department include ceiling grid and tile removal and replacement, new LED lighting, towel hangers, PVC wall panels on all walls, and epoxy floor addition (decorative Quartz). Remove and cap off drinking fountain outside the bathroom. Refer to the product requirements document and specifications. All questions regarding product requirements and the project should be addressed to Greg Hall, Deputy Director of Public Services. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids must be sealed and physically present in the Office of the Village Clerk by the specified deadline. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the scheduled opening without consent. The Village of DeForest reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities.
