The Hamden Main Office Building and Insect Rearing Facility (IRF) at 51 Mill Pond Road, Hamden, CT, require performance-based custodial services. The contractor is to provide all personnel, materials, equipment, supplies, and incidentals (except any government-furnished property as specified) necessary to perform custodial services for both buildings according to the specifications in the Performance Work Statement. Cleaning is to be performed to maintain satisfactory facility conditions and a clean, neat, professional appearance. Contractors may determine cleaning frequencies unless specifically noted, and performance is evaluated based on results, not frequency or method. Contractors are strongly encouraged to visit and inspect the facilities prior to submitting a quote, and are responsible for ascertaining existing conditions, material quantities, and labor requirements. Contractors should resolve all questions and issues prior to submitting a quote; failure to do so will not excuse them from completing the work successfully and without additional expense.
