Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes parking lot replacement and reconfiguration at Lakeview Junior High School. The scope includes restorative landscaping and site lighting. Proposals must be made on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Center Cass School District 66 in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and must submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Substantial completion of the project is required on or before August 7, 2026.
