The project includes the supply of one or multiple chemicals to Medford's Wastewater Treatment Plant for a duration of twelve to fourteen months. The chemicals specified are: Liquid Sodium Bisulfite, Liquid Aluminum Sulfate, Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite, Liquid (gaseous) Chlorine, Corrosion Inhibitor, Magnesium Hydroxide, and Calcium Hypochlorite Tablets. Bidders are not required to quote prices for all chemicals, and awards will be made separately for each chemical. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form included in the contract documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, and project title. Each bid must include all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a bid guarantee of at least ten percent of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, payable to the Township of Medford. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws referenced in the contract documents. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive minor informalities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder if not all bids are rejected.
