The work is part of a stadium refresh that will be split into two phases as described in the scope. Scope of Services. Phase 1: Improve the drainage around the baselines and behind Homeplate by installing new pipe that ties into the existing manhole and regrading of the subsurface. The existing artificial turf will be removed and replaced with new artificial turf to include the dugouts. The new turf will have the interlocking CMU logo behind Homeplate. The zone where the infield meets the outfield will need to be reworked to form a smooth transition between the dirt and the grass. Phase 2: The existing batting tunnel will be removed and replaced with a tension batting tunnel typical of the baseball stadium. The damaged areas of the backstop and along with the baselines that will be replaced with new chain-link, and the sections that remain will be repainted. The existing poles will have the old paint stripped, primed and repainted. New paint will be applied to the fencing up to the outfield fence, and the rails in front of the dugouts. New pads are to be added to the outfield fence. The existing perimeter fence along the west and south perimeter of the stadium is to be painted and repaired.
