Renovation of a retail development in Naples, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.
The work consists of repairs at Cocohatchee River Park Bait Shop following hurricane damage. The scope includes replacement and upgrades to structural and mechanical components to meet current standards and regulations. Tasks include removal and replacement of existing doors and windows with new large missile impact rated aluminum products, ensuring compliance with energy performance and Collier County's beach turtle regulations, and reconnecting door hardware to the existing security system. The soffits and roof flashing will be replaced to match existing materials. The HVAC condensing unit will be relocated to a new NOA-approved rooftop stand above the base flood elevation plus one foot, and the entire HVAC system will be inspected, tested, and adjusted or repaired as necessary. Electrical work includes installing a new meter, transformer, and feed from an existing utility transformer, replacement of exterior lighting, and installation of new receptacles. The exterior deck will be replaced with a new 12' by 24' pressure-treated wood deck according to specific decking and structural details, with an alternate option for a concrete slab of the same dimensions. Vendors must fulfill all requirements as specified, with all goods FOB destination, and final selection will be made based on the lowest responsive quote. No exceptions to the county’s purchase order terms and conditions or use of vendor-provided contracts are permitted. Surcharges must be incorporated into the pricing structure. Bidders are instructed to submit all quotations online by the specified deadlines, as late submissions will not be accepted. Prices must remain firm for the term of the resultant purchase order, and risks of loss transfer to the county at the time and place of delivery, except for loss prior to actual receipt by the county, which remains with the vendor.
