Renovation of an educational facility in Foley, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Foley High School Chiller Replacement. A cashier's check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount (with a maximum of $10,000) is required to accompany each bidder's proposal. Performance and payment bonds, as well as evidence of insurance as specified in the bid documents, will be required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications may be reviewed at the engineer's office and at designated plan rooms. Bid documents can be obtained from the engineer with a non-refundable deposit per set on a thumb drive. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the engineer or copies thereof. Bidders exceeding specified monetary thresholds must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, and must display their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing their proposal. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in their best interest.
