Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Haven, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
As of March 12, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Proposals are requested from qualified contractors for the GHAPS White Pines Electrical and Rosy Mound Boilers project, to complete the work at White Pines Intermediate School and Rosy Mound Elementary School. The successful General Contractor will be fully responsible for the coordination of all required work among all trades. The intent is to perform the work for a Stipulated Sum contract, per the Contract Documents. All bidders are responsible for reviewing all drawings and specifications, attending a site walk-through, and are required to submit written documentation if there are any discrepancies in the documents. Bidders must submit two signed and sealed copies of their bids in an opaque envelope with all required security deposits and clearly identified information. Bids must include a security deposit (bid bond or certified check) for 5% of the base bid amount and indicate the cost of performance and labor/material bonds covering 100% of the project value, not included in the base bid. All bids must include a sworn familial relationship disclosure statement and an affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Applicable Michigan use and sales tax applies, and prevailing wages are required. Bids will remain valid and irrevocable for sixty days after the closing date. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. For a detailed description of the work, refer to the Summary in Section 01 10 00. Anticipated Award of Contract: March 18, 2026
