Sealed bids will be received for WSCO - HVAC Upgrades at Washington State College of Ohio, Marietta, in accordance with the contract documents prepared by Pickering Associates. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of proposed substitutions for specified products, equipment, or services to the Architect/Engineer no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Do not include sales tax as the project is exempt. The college reserves the right to reject any bids and waive informalities. Prevailing wage rates and equal employment opportunity requirements apply. The bidder must indicate locations where services will be performed per Executive Order 2019-12D and affirm compliance with Executive Order 2022-02D regarding Russian institutions or companies. Domestic steel use requirements of Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011 apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled and in good standing in a Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation prior to submitting a bid and, if awarded a contract, must comply with SUPR criteria described in the general conditions. The contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the contract documents. The project consists of upgrading HVAC equipment and controls to address humidity concerns in the arts and sciences building at Washington State.
