Remodeling of an educational facility in Three Oaks, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
For LED Lighting Upgrades in the Ridgeview Elementary. RFP & project questions: MYESCO Phil Beemer at (616) 481-5015 or pbeemer@myesco.com 1. Electrical Permit will be pulled with the State of Michigan by the E.C. MYESCO will assist in the permit application to ensure a smooth process with the state. 2. Provide 1 for 1 replacement of all fixtures per their fixture tag. 3. New occupancy sensors and power packs will be installed per the drawings. 4. Where rewiring is needed, all MC cable, fittings, etc. shall be provided by the E.C. 5. New Dimmers will be installed in each classroom per the Typical Classroom Dimming Control Detail. Note of the front of room and smart board will need to be verified and adjusted accordingly. New stainless steel cover plates to be provided by the EC with one toggle switch and one decora opening. All 0-10v dimming wire will be provided by the EC (18ga stranded, 2 conductors, non-shielded). 6. Rooms other than classrooms, new dimmers and dimming wire to be installed per the scope of work plans. Refer to the Electrical Notes and locations per the plans. 7. Where existing emergency fixtures are being replaced by new flat panel fixtures, remote emergency indicator lights/test buttons provided shall be installed next to the fixture in the grid. 8. The electrical contractor shall be responsible for the removal of existing fixtures from the campus. Dumpsters touch points shall be placed on plywood to protect the existing parking lots from damage. 9. All fixtures must be supported per the NEC. All flat panel fixtures should have all (4) hurricane clips supported over the grid. All other fixtures must have (2) means of support at minimum, likely tie wires on opposite corners up to building structure. 10. The Electrical contractor shall maintain clean working conditions daily and is responsible for the entire clean-up upon completion. The only work associated with this project is the lighting work and so no other general cleaning services will be provided. 11. Scissor lift to be included and provided by the EC.
