Sealed bids are invited for HUR-D03 SRTS-Norwalk INF. (PID 120248), in Norwalk, Ohio. Bidders must obtain a complete bid package from Richland Engineering, A Division of the Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., and be listed as a plan holder of record. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, but the City of Norwalk reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason. Bidders must provide security with their bid, in the amount and form specified, and furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, with surety from a company licensed in Ohio. Proposals must include the full name of all interested parties and evidence of experience with projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must be prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Compliance with Ohio equal employment opportunity requirements and domestic steel use requirements is mandatory. Bidders are advised to visit the project site. Prevailing wage rates, as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor for Federal-Aid Projects, apply. The SBE Goal for this project is 0%.
