Sealed bids for the 2026 Street Resurfacing Project will be received by the City of Norwalk, Ohio. A bid packet consisting of detailed plans, specifications, and contract documents is required and may be obtained or examined at the office of the Public Works Director. A payment of Ten Dollars ($10.00) is required for each bid packet. Bidders must comply with all requirements in the bid packet, including Wage Rates, insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. No contract will be entered into if bid prices exceed 10% above the Engineer's estimate. The City of Norwalk reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and may award a contract to the lowest and best bidder. All questions should be submitted in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the bid opening.
