Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of improvements to the watermain at the intersection of State Route 82 and State Route 43, and along State Route 43 to Maple Lane. It also includes the replacement of existing service lines and pavement repairs. Night-time work and complete street closures are to be expected. Work at the intersection must be completed in advance of the ODOT resurfacing project for State Route 82. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bid Express website. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the amount bid, or a digital or paper bid bond in the amount of 100% of the amount bid, all made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio. Any requests for interpretation of the contract documents may be submitted through the Bid Express website. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable to the City.
