Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Hinesburg, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the replacement of two failed bridges in Hinesburg, VT. Bridge #23 involves replacing a failed concrete slab bridge with a span of 11 feet with a 55-foot long by 20-foot wide by 8-foot-high pre-cast concrete box culvert. Bridge #28 is a failed CMP that was washed out during a flooding event. The new structure for Bridge #28 will be 111 feet long by 18 feet wide by 8 feet high, constructed of precast concrete with baffles and wing walls. The issuing office for the bidding documents is Otter Creek Engineering, Inc. located at 404 East Main Street, East Middlebury, VT 05740. Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of the bidding documents by paying $100.00, or printed copies by paying $150 per set by mail. Checks should be made payable to "Otter Creek Engineering, Inc." Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available. The issuing office is not responsible for documents obtained from other sources or for issuing addenda to parties obtaining documents elsewhere.
