The Boyle County Extension Service seeks bids for contractual cleaning services for its facility at 99 Corporate Drive in Danville. The one-year contract includes three buildings: a main office building (27,000 sq ft) with meeting rooms, storage, restrooms, and kitchens; a teaching barn (10,000 sq ft) with office, meeting rooms, restrooms, and storage; and a pavilion (1,000 sq ft) with storage and restrooms. Service is required 5 nights per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday). Tasks include general cleaning of all floors (sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming), monthly shampooing of entrance rugs (6 rugs), cleaning entrance doors, walls, baseboards, tables, chairs, countertops, appliance surfaces, all restrooms, kitchens, sinks, water fountains, nightly trash change, and supply stocking. Cleaning supplies will be provided by the customer. Flexible scheduling for large events or holidays is required. Pricing must be itemized per day of service. Bids should include separate line items for: light floor care (scrubbing/buffing tile floors) and thorough floor care (stripping/waxing, sealing tile floors), both in main and barn buildings. To be considered, applicants must submit a sealed bid proposal and certificate of liability insurance by the specified deadline.
