The Boyle County Extension Service is seeking bids for contractual cleaning services to maintain the facility located at 99 Corporate Drive in Danville. The one-year contracted services would include the main office building (27,000 sq ft) with meeting rooms, storage space, public and private restrooms, and multiple kitchens; a teaching barn (10,000 sq ft) with office, meeting rooms, public restrooms, and storage space; and a pavilion (1,000 sq ft) with storage space and public restrooms. Service is required 5 nights per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Tasks include general cleaning of all floors (sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming), monthly shampooing of carpeted entrance rugs (6 rugs), cleaning entrance door glass and doors; walls and baseboards; tables, chairs, and countertops, appliance surfaces; cleaning all restrooms and kitchens and sinks, water fountains throughout facilities, nightly changing of all trash, and stocking of supplies for all dispensers. All cleaning supplies will be provided by the customer. Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate large events or holidays is required. Pricing for cleaning needs to be itemized per day of service. Bids should include as separate line items: total pricing labor and materials provided by contractor for light floor care (scrubbing/buffing tile floors) at the request of the customer, and total pricing labor and materials for thorough complete floor care treatment (stripping/waxing, sealing tile floors) for all buildings, performed at the request of the customer. To be considered, applicants must submit a sealed bid proposal and current certificate of liability insurance.
