The City of Eastvale (City) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide the City with miscellaneous On-Call Asphalt Repair and Maintenance Services within the public right-of-way. The work related to repairs includes, but is not limited to, crack sealing, chip seal, slurry seal, mastic repair, grinding and overlay, pavement marking, traffic control, and other associated asphalt concrete repair and related maintenance work as described in the Specifications and Scope of Work, on an as needed, work order basis. Depending on the amount required by work orders, the City may authorize work only up to the budgeted amount, which will be adjusted annually as funding becomes available. Contractor must abide by the latest edition of the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Temporary Traffic Control Zones while performing work in the City of Eastvale and applicable standards. All Contractors and subcontractors shall carry full insurance with the City named as an additional insured as appropriate. This contract is subject to prevailing wage rate laws and compliance with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) regulations. All contractors submitting a bid and subcontractors listed in their bids shall be registered with the DIR and, if awarded a contract, maintain a valid registration. If awarded, the contract will commence immediately after the contract is properly authorized by the City and fully executed by all parties.
