Reference Number 0000410902 The City of Commerce City is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) preconstruction and construction services to partner with the project design team as described in this Request for Proposals. Contractor will perform CMGC preconstruction and construction services to complete construction of a new Commerce City Police Department (CCPD) substation at104th & Potomac in Commerce City. A Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and updated project schedule will be established by the Contractor in conjunction with the Architect and City (Owner). It is the preference of the City to complete construction prior to 12/31/2027. Commerce City obtained property located at 104th and Potomac in 2023 for the purpose of building a new permanent CCPD substation to meet the needs of the expanding northern portion of the City over the next 15-year period. Commerce City has worked with D2C Architects on the initial design of the facility, which is currently at 30% completion; drawings will be provided to the awarded firm. The anticipated construction budget, including pre-construction services, is $35,000,000 .
