Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are sought from General Contractors to provide labor, equipment, and materials for cooling tower replacement at Huntsville High School, 2304 Billie Watkins Ave., Huntsville, Alabama. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, and must show evidence of license before bidding. Bidders must also be licensed in the City of Huntsville, County of Madison, Alabama, and possess all required insurance. Installation permits through the state of Alabama Department of Labor and necessary local permits for all work performed are the responsibility of the bidder. A certified check or bid bond payable to Huntsville City Schools in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but not exceeding $10,000, must accompany the bid. Performance and payment bonds are required before work commences. Potential and successful bidders must adhere to all rules and regulations of the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors and the Alabama Public Works Law.
