“The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The Upper Valley Career Center will be accepting Statements of Qualifications from design-build firms for the renovation of the existing Adult Technology Center building at the Upper Valley Career Center campus. Statements of qualifications should provide information about the firm that would allow the Board to evaluate firms on the basis of technical training, education, and experience of the firm's personnel and key consultants, and the architect or engineer of record and any other employees and consultants who would be assigned to perform the services under this contract; the ability of the firm in terms of its workload and availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the required designbuild services competently and expeditiously; and past performance of the firm as reflected by the evaluations of previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting of deadlines; and compliance with Ohio Revised Code sections 4703.182, 4703.332 and 4733.16, including the use of a licensed design professional for all design services. The Upper Valley Career Center (Owner) intend on contracting with a Design-Build Firm for the renovation of the existing Adult Technology Center (ATC). The existing building is approximately 13,700 square feet with interior renovated area of approximately 3,000 square feet. The interior renovation will focus on creation of a student lounge area, enhancements to the auditorium classrooms, and miscellaneous upgrades throughout the building. The project includes exterior upgrades to the existing building façade as well as parking lot renovations and various exterior upgrades.
