Sealed bids are requested for replacing garage doors for the City of Piqua Public Works Building. Bidders must sign and submit their bids on the City bid forms included in the bid package. The sealed envelope for submission must be marked "IFB 2608 - GARAGE DOORS." Each bid must contain the full name of the submitting party or parties and all persons interested. Bidders cannot withdraw their bids after the opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable to the City. Project Details The City ofPiqua is requesting a price to perform the following garage door replacement work in the two structures, the Administration Building, and the Storage Building shown on aerial document included in the bid information packet. The replacement doors are not to include new track or additional hardware; the intent is using the existing hardware including torsions springs. Administration Building Door (A) 16'-2"x 14' Haas Model 712, north • Replace all the sections with no glass panels. • Paint completed door to match owner's selection. • Add newweatherstripping around door. • Repair and replace jamb material.
