Installation of erosion and sediment control facilities, +-350 LF 18" C900 DR 18 PVC water main, +- 1 fire hydrant assemblies, pavement removal and replacement, connection to existing water mains, and appurtenances. Installation of one (1) 1250 GPM Deep Well pump, chlorine equipment, pump house, electrical items, meter, piping, telemetry system, and associated appurtenances. Bids will only be accepted from well drillers licensed by the State of Georgia. All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority, Georgia prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Both the Payment Bond and Performance Bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. Question Deadline 02/25/2026 In general, no answer will be given to an oral question if the answer involves an interpretation of the intent or meaning of the Contract Documents or Plans, or the equality or use of products or methods other than those definitely designated or described on the Plans or in the Specifications. To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids.
