Site work and new construction of a civil project in Darien, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Darien, hereinafter referred to as Owner, is currently requesting proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and other appurtenances to replace the existing lift station located below the Darien River Bridge in conjunction with the larger bridge replacement project. The construction of a new lift station, valve vault with odor control measures, installment of 8 C900 DR18 force main piping (293 LF open cut and 237 LF of directional bore), and rerouting 300 LF of existing 12 gravity sewer main. The project will also include the abandonment and demolition of the existing lift station and necessary components after the new lift station is activated. All bids must be accomp anied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. The successful Bidder, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Owner Reserves The Right To Waive All Technicalities, Reject Any Or All Bids And Make The Award In Its Best Interest.
