The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), on behalf the Georgia Department of Agriculture 'Owner' or 'GDA', is seeking statements of qualifications from Utility Contractors and/or General Contractors (UC/GC) interested in pre-qualifying as an eligible bidder for the upcoming project known as Project No. AGRFM.24.032 (GDA-50) - Utility Upgrades & Repairs, Phase 1 at the Georgia Agriculture Terminal. Generally, the project consists of major infrastructure improvements focused on the western half of the property from Frontage Road to Farm Drive. It also includes several minor infrastructure repairs east of Farm Drive on the ‘wholesale’ side of the facility. The bulk of the work consists of a very large underground detention facility and new infrastructure corridors along 1st Street, 1st Ave, 16th Ave, and Farm Drive. Additionally, a new secure paved truck/trailer parking area is proposed between 1st Street and Frontage Road in the vicinity of the underground detention facility.
