Dunn House Phase 2 - construction of an 8-storey building with 54 supportive housing units + indoor amenity and supportive uses, such as communal kitchen and dining, and clinical social support spaces. Properties are: 1-3 Close Avenue and 78 Springhurst Avenue. TIMELINE: Designs are underway. Owner is awaiting rezoning approvals from the city of Toronto. Request for Proposals for a Construction Manager has been issued; details are being followed on a separate report. Construction timelines are pending approvals. Further update late 2026. *Federal government investment: 21.6 million. *Province of Ontario is providing up to 2.6 million in annual operational funding, and the City of Toronto leading the delivery as a public developer. *City Council has authorized the capital grant funding of up to $8.1 million to support the delivery of this project. *CreateTO will develop the site using modular construction by NRB Modular Solutions.
