Renovation of a municipal facility in Hamilton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Each Trade Partner is responsible for all items of work referenced in the Contract Documents. Failure of any Contractor to familiarize themselves with the full set of documents does not relieve them of the responsibility to furnish and install all items designated to their Contract. The Contract Documents include i) Butler County Bid Packet and Scope of Work ii) Civil Drawings and Specifications - Bayer Becker iii) Geotechnical Information - Bayer Becker, S&ME and Turner Construction (1) Phase 1 ESA - S&ME (2) Geotechnical Report: Borings - S&ME (3) Geotechnical Report: Test Pits - S&ME (4) Supplemental Test Pit Observations by Turner Construction Company iv) Project Safety Manual v) Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Technology Drawings and Specifications - KZF (Bid Group 2 and 3 Only) vi) Owner's Equipment Book: 911 (Bid Group 2 and 3 Only) vii) Owner's Equipment Book: Coroner (Bid Group 2 and 3 Only) b) Each Trade Partner shall include all necessary equipment, labor, materials, surveying, etc. required to perform the complete scope of work as specified and described in the Contract Documents. i) Necessary equipment includes scaffolding, hoisting, rigging, lifting, moving and placement equipment and associated accessories. ii) Necessary labor includes the number of people and crews necessary to deliver the project according to the schedule; this may mean multiple crews working simultaneously. iii) Necessary materials includes temporary and permanent materials to achieve the schedule and phasing of the Project. iv) Necessary surveying includes elevation and location following approved engineering standards. Each bidder shall submit with bid, a bid bond in satisfactory form in favor of the County in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or a certified or cashier check on a solvent bank in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount. A performance bond may be required for the project. The bidder may provide a combination bid/performance bond, which is in statutory compliance with the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders are required to complete and submit with bid ALL forms that are included with the specifications packet. Bidders are required to use the forms furnished by the County when submitting their bid. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the County as determined by the Board, and to hold bids valid for sixty (60) days from the bid date.
