Statements of Qualifications and Proposals are being requested from engineering and/or architectural firms with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments with the implementation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs including CDBG set-aside programs, CDBG-DR programs, and other state and federally funded programs. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed in the State of Georgia to provide these services. Work may include water and wastewater extensions, road paving, paved walking path, and other civil engineering activities as needed. Architectural services may include design and construction of a small community center building or Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The first task is to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR), and firms should provide information regarding their ability to complete the PER promptly. This is not a request for retainer services; all submissions will be reconsidered for future projects as opportunities arise within the next 2-3 years. Firms should submit: firm history and resources, CDBG/EIP/RDF and related experience, key personnel qualifications, current workload, scope and level of proposed services, experience with similar projects and references, fees/percentages for PER/application, design and construction management (if funded), errors and omissions insurance, Statement of Qualifications Form, and Section 3 Certification Form (if applicable).
