The project involves the furnishing of all materials and labor for a new Pre-K classroom addition, gym renovation, and site improvements. The base bid includes construction of a new 4,492 sq. ft. addition with four Pre-K classrooms and two shared restrooms, as well as a connecting corridor/lobby to the existing gymnasium. The gym renovation covers 8,295 sq. ft. of existing building space, transforming areas outside the gym playing floor into a new administrative office, men's and women's restrooms, storage room, janitor's closet, and IT room. Finish upgrades in the existing gym and lobby are included. Alternate #1 includes renovation of an additional 2,198 sq. ft. into seven offices, a conference room, SEL office, mechanical room, and corridor. Bidders must provide bid security of at least five percent of the bid amount in the form of a certified check or bid bond, complete and submit the latest version of Contractor's Bid for Public Bidding Form No. 96 with a financial statement, and submit copies of drug testing and background check programs, as well as an E-Verify affidavit.
