Separate and sealed proposals are requested for the 2026 North Strabane Township Vandale Bridge Wingwall Project (Contract 1/2026). The work includes Asphalt Milling, Paving, Trench Box Safety, Class A Cement, Epoxy Coated Reinforcement Bars, Fabricated Structural Steel, #57 Coarse Aggregate, Modified Dowel Holes, Anchor Rods, Galvanized Steel Casing, Turf and Asphalt Restoration, Guiderail Removal and Replacement, Light Clearing & Grubbing, Road Base Repairs, Remove and Replace Concrete Curbs, E & S Control Measures, and Traffic Control Measures, as well as any other incidentals necessary to complete the Wingwalls Dead-man Anchor Support. Bidders must inspect and review the project area before submitting a bid. Itemized quantities, location map, and design drawings are provided in the bid documents. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, and each bidder must be PennDOT prequalified, with the certificate attached to the envelope. Contractors are subject to the PA Prevailing Wage Act and Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). The owner reserves the right to accept or deny any or all bids, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the opening.
