Work includes modifications to the existing treatment processes and structures, equipment replacement and installation, pipe work, and site improvements. The proposed scope of work will include the following: o Renovation of the existing control building including the replacement of piping, and valves, HVAC improvements, new doors, and other structural improvements. o Renovation of the existing headworks / sludge building including the replacement of screening, grit, and pumping equipment, process piping, and valves, HVAC improvements, new doors, and other structural improvements. o Equipment upgrades at the package aeration and final clarifier facilities. o Renovation of the existing blower buildings including new blowers and piping, new MCC electrical system, new roof(s) and doors, and other structural improvements. o An addition to the effluent structure for the addition of UV disinfection equipment. o Upgrades to the sludge storage tank. o Site work includes erosion control, site piping, grading, and landscaping. o SCADA and electrical work include the motor control centers, power distribution, lighting, instrumentation, and SCADA system upgrades. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Deerfield within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Neither the State of Wisconsin nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be party to this invitation for bids or any resulting contract.
