The scope of this Contract is construction of a new bridge and restoration of a culvert at the Opa-Locka Executive Airport. This project involves demolition of an existing bridge and construction of a new bridge over the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) C-8 Canal, restoration of the C-8 Canal section under the existing bridge, and construction of a new culvert to cross an existing Miami-Dade County, Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, Division of Environmental Management (DERM) stormwater canal. The bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful contractor must execute a one hundred (100%) surety performance and payment bonds. The original bid bond must be delivered to the contracting officer at the address above prior to the bid opening or a bid will be deemed non-responsive.
