Description

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in New Westminster, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of New Westminster’s Parks Department is seeking a General Contractor to renovate and seismically upgrade a former barn into a workshop and kitchen space for public use. The Respondent in accordance with the Contract documents will provide: Selective demolition of the building and removal and disposal of the building materials off the site as indicated within the construction documents. New construction including structural upgrades, architectural modifications and replacements, new electrical and lighting system, new fire alarm, new sprinkler system, upgraded water service and plumbing as indicated within the construction documents. Contractor to apply for and obtain plumbing permit and electrical permit. Documents can be obtained from https://newwestcity.bidsandtenders.ca/ Question Deadline Thu Mar 5, 2026 12:00:00 PM (PST) The City intends to respond only to those relevant enquiries received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the closing date.
